Skip the quick-lube
Over the years we’ve found that many of our customers think they have to go to an “oil change place” for their regular lube, oil and filter. The quick-lube places are sometimes a little cheaper or a little faster. But you’re getting nowhere near the same level of care and expertise, and they tend to sell services you may or may not need.
If you only drive around town, read this
A lot of Edmonds driving is short: the store, the waterfront, the school run. On trips like that the engine never gets fully hot, so the moisture and fuel that collect in the oil never get a chance to burn off. The oil wears out faster than the odometer suggests.
That’s why car makers list a time limit as well as a mileage. If you put on only a few thousand miles a year, change your oil by the calendar. We’ll look up the right interval for your car and the way you use it.

What you get here
- The correct oil and a new filter
- All fluids checked and topped off
- A look at belts, hoses, brakes and lights
- A check underneath for leaks
- An honest rundown of anything worth watching
You’ll get a clearer picture of where your car stands, and whether there’s a problem you can avoid.
